Who runs this site
The controller of maxwhisper.com is the MAX whisper operator. Contact: hello@maxwhisper.com. We do not list a VAT number here — Polar (merchant of record) collects payment and VAT at checkout.
Meta Pixel
After you Accept we run the ads Pixel of Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. (Merrion Road, Dublin 4, D04 X2K5, Ireland). Legal basis: your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)). Purpose: ads measurement and remarketing. Meta may receive your IP address, browser, page URL, and — after consent — _fbp/_fbc cookies. We do not send your email or form fields (no Advanced Matching). For the Pixel we are joint controllers with Meta. Meta’s policy: https://www.facebook.com/privacy/policy
Transfers outside the EEA
Meta may process data in the US and other countries under its standard contractual clauses. Reject the Pixel and those Pixel transfers do not happen.
Your rights
You can withdraw consent at any time (below). You may request access, correction, erasure, restriction, object, and complain to your data-protection authority. Email hello@maxwhisper.com.
Transcription on your Mac
Audio and video stay on your computer. MAX whisper transcribes locally with Whisper. We do not send recordings to our servers.
What we do not collect
No in-app analytics. No account. Feedback is only what you type in an email — no audio attached.
Purchase
Checkout is Polar (merchant of record). They take the card and VAT. After payment you return to maxwhisper.com/en/thanks.
Permissions
Microphone — only when you record live. Files — the folder you choose. iCloud will sync the vault if you put it in iCloud Drive yourself.
Refund and contact
7-day refund. hello@maxwhisper.com
Cookies and browser storage
Language is a functional cookie. Ads consent lives in localStorage. Meta cookies appear only after Accept.
| Name | Where | Why |
|---|---|---|
| max_locale | cookie | PL or EN (footer language choice). |
| mw_consent_v1 | localStorage | Whether you accepted ads. |
| mw_fb_purchase_v1 | sessionStorage | Stops a second Purchase in the same tab. |
| _fbp, _fbc (Meta) | cookies | Ads Pixel — only after consent. |
Change consent
You can turn ads off at any time. Polar (merchant of record) handles checkout separately — this choice is only the Pixel on this site.
